Systems Administrator III
to provide expert-level support in the development and administration of eTraining courseware. This role requires a combination of technical and collaborative skills, including courseware development, troubleshooting, and ensuring Section 508 compliance.
Summary:
C Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator III to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new courseware using DHS-approved development tools, troubleshooting content issues, and collaborating with instructional designers and graphic designers to ensure courses are highly interactive and engaging. The role also involves validation of Level AA Section 508 compliance requirements, providing information regarding OAST accessibility guidance, and Trusted Tester certification of all web-based deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Courseware Development:Develop new courseware using DHS-approved development tools.Collaborate with instructional designers and graphic designers to ensure courses are highly interactive and engaging to the learner.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:Troubleshoot content issues identified by LTI and Components.Provide expert-level technical support for courseware-related issues.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Validate Level AA Section 508 compliance requirements.Provide information regarding OAST accessibility guidance.Ensure Trusted Tester certification of all web-based deliverables.
Technical Skills and Support:
Create eTraining courses using HTML.Develop online courses using Rapid Application Development Tools such as Articulate Storyline.Troubleshoot and configure SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 (LMS) online training formats.
Requirements:
Two years of experience creating eTraining following accessibility and Section 508 compliance guidelines.Five years of experience developing online courses using Rapid Application Development Tools such as Articulate Storyline.Five years of experience troubleshooting courses created in a variety of software tools.Five years of experience creating eTraining courses using HTML.Five years of experience creating, troubleshooting, and configuring SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 (LMS) online training formats.A 4-year degree in Computer Science or 15 years of experience in the Computer Science IT field.
Preferred:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
