Position: Web Applications Programmer V Location: Springfield, VA Job Id: 551 of Openings: 1 C Technologies seeks a Web Applications Programmer V to provide expert-level support and solutions for various business and technical needs. This role requires a combination of senior-level skillsets, including systems analyst, business analyst, programmer, LMS system administration, business and technical writing, and project management. Summary: C Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Applications Programmer V to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for determining business and technical solutions to meet client needs, supporting the client as a technical advisor, providing expertise as a solutions architect, designing and developing solutions to complex issues, and acting as an intermediary between the content team, LMS team, and DHS stakeholders. Responsibilities: Systems Analysis and Solution Design: Determine business and technical solutions to meet client needs. Provide expertise as a solutions architect and design/develop solutions to complex issues. Act as an intermediary between the content team, LMS team, and DHS stakeholders. Support the client as a technical advisor. Technical Support and Development: Develop and implement data migration plans between systems. Manage multiple environments such as development, prototype, and production to ensure optimal performance. Provide expert-level technical support and perform help desk functions with quick resolution. Manage and maintain custom PHP, 508-compliant, HTML, XML, CSS, SCORM-conformant, CMi5, xAPI asynchronous and synchronous course pages with integrated learning applications. Quality Assurance and Reporting: Generate and interpret regular reports on system performance, user engagement, course completions, and training effectiveness. Ensure all LMS content complies with accessibility standards and is optimized for user experience. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal and external customers to gather and verify system requirements. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status and any issues. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on LMS administration activities. Requirements: A minimum of 15 years of experience as a Senior Systems Analyst working with Learning Management Systems. A minimum of 15 years of experience serving Federal Government clients as a technical advisor with eTraining systems and courseware solutions. A 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study. Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong leadership and team management skills. Preferred: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
