The Sales Coordinator provides support to the Foodservice Sales Team by managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and ensuring smooth operations. This role is essential for helping the team achieve sales goals and maintain strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a team player who can work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and contribute to team success. This is a hybrid role based in Elizabeth, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, logistics, and product managers to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.Create customer contracts and set up new items in system. Maintain and update customer records and sales databases (CRM, Exceedra, Infor M3), ensuring all information is accurate and current.Compile and maintain sales reports, track wins, provide team updates, and conduct ad hoc analysis, including gap assessments.Respond to inquiries related to products, credits, order status, invoicing, pricing, and inventory from customers and the sales team promptly, ensuring all questions are addressed efficiently.Assist in the preparation and distribution of marketing materials and sales presentations.Help organize and coordinate food shows, trade events, sales meetings, and other promotional activities.Process sample requests, ensuring proper follow-up by tracking arrivals.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related fieldPrior similar internship experience is a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to analyze data and reportsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentA proactive approach to problem-solving and teamworkStrong interest in food; passion for culinary trends and product knowledgeWillingness to travel up to 10%Our Benefits
