GGG companies provide strength in sourcing, insurance, finance, logistics, food safety, and information technology, and supply the needs of retailers, distributors, food service chains, hotels, cruise lines, and food manufacturers alike.Gellert Global Group is seeking an attorney to pilot and operate its Elizabeth NJ-based legal department on transactional, data privacy, corporate governance, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, and labor and employment law matters.Job Description:Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating vendor, customer, employment, technology, lease, and confidentiality agreements.Draft contracts and vendor management.Researching and advising the company with respect to applicable data security and privacy compliance obligations, both domestic and international, including under the GDPR, California Consumer Privacy Act, General Data Protection Regulation, Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and the Australian Privacy Principles.Prepare and revise corporate documents, including certificates of incorporation, certificates of amendment, and bylaws, and provide corporate governance support.Develop corporate policies and procedures, guidelines, legal forms and templates, and resource materials.Assist with intellectual property applications, infringement monitoring, and ensuring timely renewals are filed.Conduct due diligence with business partners for regulatory compliance.Research and advise on special projects assigned by executive management or company legal counsel, and conduct legal research as needed.Required Qualifications and Skills:Juris Doctor Degree.Member in good standing of the NJ state bar.10 or more years of general corporate law experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel.Strong work ethic and a proven ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously.Excellent research, project management, and communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and third-parties.Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects.We care about your total well-being and will support you with the following, subject to your location and role.Health:
