Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related field required; PHR of SPHR certification or higher is a plus3-5 years related experienceUnderstanding of talent acquisition sourcing and recruitment methods to find the best talentProficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities:

Assists with full cycle recruiting efforts including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, creating offer letters, etc. to recruit, interview, test and select employees to fill vacant positionsCreate and maintain job descriptions (in partnership with organizational leaders)Plan and conduct new employee orientation and onboardingMaintain records of personnel transactions: hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reportingAssist in daily benefits administration to include enrollments, terminations, changes, employee inquiries and monthly reportsHandle leave administrationAddresses employees' concerns, grievances and perform all necessary investigations with recommendations for disciplinary action of violation of any company policiesAdvise management on appropriate resolutions for employer relations issuesRespond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programsPrepare employee separation notices and related documentation; conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separationsProvides consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on human resources-related matters, ensuring alignment with policies, goals, and objectives; keeps managers up to date on changes and advises on the impact or requirementsServes as a partner to the organization through all functional areas of HR to enhance the organization’s culture and valuesProvides guidance and helps managers prepare for employee discussions as it relates to performance, conduct, and/or corrective action situationsCollaborate with leadership to develop programs to attract, develop, retain, and promote a diverse workforceHandles unemployment claims (process requests, participates in hearings, and resolves claims).Works with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention; provides recommendations and changes to improve organization effectivenessKnowledge of HRIS Human Resource systems, Excel Spreadsheets and Word Processing softwareWe Make it EasyFounded in 1901, MRA is a nonprofit employer association that serves more
