Program Manager, Oasis Day and Resource CenterHeritage is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Manager to lead our Oasis Day Center. The Program Manager will oversee the Center's daily operations, ensure the provision of essential services, and coordinate with community resources to support individuals in need. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to improving the lives of those experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.Program Overview :Oasis Day and Resource Center, a program under the umbrella of Heritage Behavioral Health Center, is a unique program for individuals aged 18 and above who are experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. As a drop-in center, Oasis provides a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can receive non-judgmental support from a caring contact to assist and begin their recovery journey. We offer essential services such as showers, laundry facilities, mail delivery, telephone and internet access, locker storage, and referrals to community resources. Our goal is to address basic needs and provide a steppingstone toward comprehensive care and improved quality of life.Core Responsibilities Include:Oversight of the daily operations of the Oasis Day Center, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.Lead, mentor, and support a team of staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and compassionate work culture.Implement and monitor program policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.Ensure the provision of essential services, including showers, laundry facilities, mail delivery, telephone and internet access, and locker storage.Coordinate referrals to community resources for clothing, food, shelter, case management, and primary care services.Facilitate access to vital records, such as birth certificates and photo IDs, to help clients secure employment, housing, and governmental benefits.Utilize de-escalation and harm reduction strategies to address client needs and ensure a safe environment.Build and maintain relationships with community partners, service providers, and stakeholders to enhance support services for clients.Represent Oasis in a professional manner at community meetings, events, and forums to advocate for the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong understanding of homelessness, housing insecurity, and related social issues.Demonstrate and model the behaviors expected of your team while gaining hands on experience in each role you supervise.Demonstrate creativity and innovation, especially as it relates to enhancing the experiences of individuals seeking help.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, social services, or a related field.Valid driver's license, reliable means of transportation, and current proof of automobile insurance is required.Salary Range: $65,000-$85,000 per year (dependent on education and experience)Heritage also offers the following with this position:Generous vacation, sick and personal leaveWELLNESS days - 26 days per year (every other Friday off paid )Paid holidays - 9 in 2024Health Club/Fitness ReimbursementEmployee Assistance ProgramContinuing education opportunitiesTuition assistance programAgency provided life insurance and short-term disability policiesRetirement plans (401k and Roth)Optional insurance benefits, including health, dental, vision, flex spending accounts (healthcare, dependent care), and additional life insurance.
