Our salaries have been updated and are competitive at both the state and national levels with wonderful benefits.Full-time employees receive 56 paid days off during their 1st year of employment (this includes every other Friday off PAID for your wellness needs). Our staff are our greatest asset, and we treat them as such!We are pleased to present the following position for your consideration:Overview: Engagement Specialist, Access to CareThese full-time positions provide recovery support services - providing peer support, advocacy, and assisting individuals in accessing services. Heritage Behavioral Health Center staff respond to individuals seeking help with depression, anxiety, substance use, and/or other distressing symptoms, by providing a supportive response and linkage to ongoing supportive services. The program will provide support to anyone, anywhere, and at any time.Core Responsibilities Include:Face-to-face, telephone, and virtual sessions to provide peer supportAble to serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator to recoveryAble to communicate with individuals, friends/family, and referral sourcesParticipates in team response to individuals experiencing a mental health and/or substance use crisis to offer recovery support servicesAssertive outreach and engagement to assist individuals in accessing treatment servicesAssists individuals with navigating community resourcesIn partnership with the individual, case management services to ensure referral and linkage to services that will support the individual's overall health and wellnessMaintain positive relationships with referral sources and community providersCollaborate with multiple internal and external providers to coordinate treatment including crisis care team members, support team members, case management, counselors, psychiatric providers, and clinical leadersKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to engage individuals in behavioral health treatmentAbility to provide flexible services as they present and/or scheduled - each day will look differentKnowledge of community resources including psychiatric, substance use, medical, and/or other community servicesEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to work as a team playerStrong customer service skills with everyone encounteredAbility to navigate electronic health recordProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelInitiative for ongoing self-development (skills, learning, and growing)Education and Experience:Eligible candidates will self-identify as having lived experience with a mental health diagnosis. Ideal candidates will have an interest and desire to assist individuals in recovery as well as utilize their lived experiences that may have impacted their own personal journey to recovery.High school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a minimum 21 years of age.Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) is required within 12 months of employment.Valid driver's license, reliable means of transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance are required at the time of hire.Salary Range: $37,440-$45,760 per year ($18.00 to $22.00 per hour) dependent on education and experienceHeritage also offers the following with this position:Generous vacation, sick and personal leaveWELLNESS days - 26 days per year (every other Friday off paid )Paid holidays - 9 in 2024Health Club/Fitness ReimbursementEmployee Assistance ProgramContinuing education opportunitiesTuition assistance programAgency provided life insurance and short-term disability policiesRetirement plans (401k and Roth)Optional insurance benefits, including health, dental, vision, flex spending accounts (healthcare, dependent care), and additional life insurance.
