Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect with a passion for higher education to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing our Salesforce ecosystem, with an emphasis on Experience Cloud, Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical leader, capable of architecting complex solutions and guiding the development team to successful implementation.
Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds (Experience, Education, Marketing, Service). Architect integrations with AppExchange solutions (Linvio, Mogli, Saleswings) and external systems (Oracle Campus Solutions) using Boomi or other middleware. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry best practices. Experience Cloud: Architect and optimize digital experiences for students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Education Cloud: Design and implement solutions to streamline student lifecycle management, recruitment, and engagement. Marketing Cloud: Enhance student recruitment, engagement, and alumni relations campaigns through targeted communication. Service Cloud: Streamline student support services, faculty engagement, and issue resolution. Provide technical direction and mentorship to the Salesforce development team. Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure the quality and maintainability of solutions. Participate in hands-on development as needed to solve complex technical challenges. Work closely with various stakeholders across the institution to gather requirements, analyze needs, and ensure solutions meet diverse needs. Utilize analytics and insights to improve Salesforce performance and drive data-informed decision-making continuously. Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Salesforce Architect or in a similar role, with proven experience in multiple Salesforce clouds (Experience, Education, Marketing, Service). Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Technical Architect, Certified Application Architect) are desirable but not compulsory. Experience in the higher education sector is a significant advantage. Exceptional technical skills with a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and development best practices. Demonstrated expertise in integrating AppExchange solutions and external systems (Boomi, Oracle Campus Solutions). Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
