Job Description
Duties: Participate in the design, elaboration and implementation of strategies, rules, analytical models (Adaptive, Predictive, VBD), NBA Designer and distributed system architectures. Verify the stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architectures. Work in Pega Marketing's Next-Best-Action (NBA) Designer to build offers using an offer condition builder, offer details, proposition filters, and strategy rules as per the latest version of Pega Marketing. Responsible for transitioning clients to the most recent Pega Marketing build and ensuring a smooth transition of all systems. Collaborate with engineers and software developers to select appropriate design solutions and ensure the compatibility of system components. Monitor systems operations to detect potential problems, and design and conduct hardware and software tests. Assess decisioning platform capabilities and create a roadmap for expansion. Involved in propensities, including both scoring and modelling (CAR). Work on customer interaction history, profiles, journeys, identification and matching. Develop class structure/hierarchy/use case design and data models to extend Pega frameworks. Create new treatment groups, classes, properties, data elements within Pega. Collaborate with business and technology teams. Build and update decisioning components (decision table, scorecard, filter, strategy set, switch, and ranking). Update decisioning strategies and design.
Remote work permitted from any U.S. location.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a closely related field.
5 years of relevant professional experience, to include: 4 years of experience with Pega BPM 8 and Pega CDH; 5 years of experience with both of the following web/application servers: Apache Tomcat and IBM Web sphere; 5 years of experience with each of the following databases: Oracle, DB2, MS-Access, and SQL Server; 5 years of experience with PRPC Pega Rules Process Commander; and; 5 years of experience with the following customer relationship management (CRM) concepts: Next Best Action and Marketing Portal.
