Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and working within the Chicago showroom, the Showroom Sales Account Executive requires an energetic, service oriented individual responsible for applying business knowledge and design and sales expertise. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization with responsibilities related to ensuring target customers view Scott Group Studio as their preferred resource for custom carpets and rugs. This role requires teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, business understanding, communication, and organizational skills in accordance with the core values of Scott Group Studio.

Showroom Sales Account ExecutiveWork directly with Interior Designers and Architects in a consultative fashion to discover needs, present solutions, and ultimately win opportunities.Promote the use of Scott Group products by developing relationships with new and existing customers in the marketWork in conjunction with assigned outside Business Development Account Executive to build relationships with qualified leads and win opportunitiesCollaborate with SGS Design Team, Project Manager, and Customer Service to fulfill unique customer sample and quoting needsPrepare quotations, order confirmations, and respond to sales inquiries in a timely manner.Build and nurture a strong client base using your industry knowledge, passion for sales, and existing relationshipsManage customer projects and drive sales through consistent follow up and use of CRM system to document and track customer activitiesCo-manage and run the day-to-day operations of the showroomIdentify outreach opportunities, including marketing to local interior designers, architects and general contractorsHost and attend local events and continuing education opportunitiesFollow up on existing opportunities and schedule post-sale customer relationship maintenance activities with active accounts and VIP customersWork with Business Development Sales Account Executive on select joint customer presentationsAbilitiesBachelors degree in business, design or a related field preferred and five plus years of sales experience with a proven record of success.Outgoing, customer service, and solution oriented.Knowledge of luxury interiors, textile industry, and/or design related experience.
