Business Litigation Paralegal

LHH is currently recruiting a Business Litigation Paralegal for a large and well-respected law firm client in Raleigh, NC. The litigation paralegal will assist assigned attorneys in the firms litigation practice with a focus on business and employment litigation. Responsibilities
Composing, transcribing and editing of discovery documents, pleadings, motions, affidavits and other materials
Maintain and monitor docket and court deadlines
Filing of documents in state and federal court
Collection of high-volume of documents for cases, including organization, redaction, and indexing
Assist attorney with preparation for trial
Trial assistance can include taking notes, handling exhibits and maintaining documents
Legal research using a variety of databases and PACER
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of business litigation experience
Bachelors degree preferred
Paralegal certification and/or NC Certification preferred
Experience in all phases of the litigation process
Knowledge of court procedures and rules in federal and state courts
Proficiency in legal research platforms
Strong project and case management skills
eDiscovery experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
