Water/Wastewater Practice Lead

to support our

Southeast Region

located in

Florida .

What you'll be doing:

Providing project management and task coordination for various potable water and wastewater projectsDefining project scope, schedules, and budgetsDeveloping detailed designs, construction plans, technical specifications, reports, and cost estimates for pipeline, pump station, treatment plant, and other water utility projectsPerforming QA/QC reviews of reports, calculations, construction plans, and other technical documentsEstablishing, developing, and maintaining client relationshipsWhat you need to have:

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline10+ years of related experienceRegistration as a Professional Engineer with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers or ability to obtain registration within 3 monthsExperience in business developmentAbility to hire, manage, and motivate staffProven existing relationships relevant entities in FLProject and task management skillsExcellent communication skillsStrong technical report writing capabilitiesAbility to work collaboratively and contribute meaningfully to the success of a project teamDetail-oriented, self-motivated, and goal/results driven mentalityCharacteristics of a successful Volkert team member:
