Right of Way Agent
to support our
East Gulf Region
located in
Tennessee .
What you'll be doing:
Perform title search updates as needed to determine ownership of real estate and encumbrances on propertyDocument preparation as needed for the acquisition of real estate rights to permit the client to construct their projectsNegotiates for acquisition of land rightsNegotiates the settlement of property owner damage claims that result from construction of projectsPrepares, assembles, delivers hard copy of file correspondence, transfer documents, land agent contact notes for company and acquiring authorityMust be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects concurrently using exceptional organizational skillsCommunicate and obtain drafted documents for due diligence purposes related to the underlying real estateMaintains files of real estate documentsPerform additional responsibilities as requested or assignedWhat you need to have:
Must have strong analytical skills and communication skillsTDOT Acquisition/Relocation certifications preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft office suiteTN real estate license and notary commission preferredIRWA RW, RWA, or SRWA certification is preferredCharacteristics of a successful Volkert team member:
