Global Marketing Manager - Pet and Aqua

Position Summary
The Global Marketing Manager is responsible for driving business growth and leading global marketing initiatives for Zinpro products and solutions, for Zinpro's Companion Animal, Aquaculture and Corporate business. In this highly critical and visible role, this position is accountable for end-to-end innovative marketing and successful strategic development through execution. This includes strategic planning, business plan development, market analysis, competitive strategies, messaging and content creation for products, solutions and services. The Global Marketing Manager will partner closely with the Global Pet Director, Senior Global Marketing Director and Global Species teams for both companion animals and aquaculture to build and execute innovative go-to-market plans that align to Zinpro's business objectives and goals.
This position will directly impact the global marketing strategy, develop value proposition messaging and define compelling differentiation that sets Zinpro apart from the competition. Additionally, this role will lead the shift from marketing strategy to execution, while working in a fast-paced environment and successfully partnering with regional marketing, commercialization, sales, technical services and research teams across the global organization.
Essential Functions
Design, implement and manage key marketing initiatives that are effective and align with Zinpro's business strategies. 50% Global Pet, 25% Aquaculture, 25% Corporate.Build global marketing campaigns and communications that drive brand awareness, thought leadership and business results in partnership with global, cross functional teamsAnalyze competitive marketing strategies and tactics for aquacultural segments to develop a comprehensive view of the competitive landscape and partner with global species teams to develop strategies to clearly differentiate ZinproHelp shape the overarching Zinpro global marketing strategy, culture and future direction, by serving as a member of the Marketing Leadership TeamCollaborate across regional business enterprises to adapt the marketing strategy to meet local, species-specific market needs and to ensure strategies are relevantOversee and evaluate market and customer research to adjust marketing strategy to meet changing competitive conditions and gain deep understanding of critical business insightsPartner with Zinpro's external agencies and internal corporate brand, digital and regional marketing teams to deliver effective marketing communication strategies and plans to achieve growth expectationsDrive global message development by partnering with regional marketing on key initiatives. conferences and customer events.Lead content strategy, development and key messaging for both corporate and targeted species segments that tie to company vision, brand positioning, competitive advantages, including the company websites, blog, email campaigns and social mediaQualifications
Minimum Required:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, animal science, or related fieldExperience and knowledge in companion animal (pet) marketingMinimum of 7 years of experience in marketing management and sales developmentFamiliar with variety of global marketing and animal nutrition concepts, practices and proceduresProven track record of success in delivering results, leading and working with global and cross functionals teams across multiple disciplinesExcellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written)Strong leadership, planning, project management and execution skillsExperience managing budgets, developing business cases and ROI modelsProven adaptability with a high sense of urgency and comfort working with ambiguity; fast learner who identifies and gains knowledge necessary to be successfulExcellent interpersonal and conflict management skillsAn independent, strategic, and creative thinker who is a strong team player (no job is too small or too large) and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessaryProven ability to lead, facilitate, influence and organize across groups at multiple levels of an organizationProven experience developing and cultivating strong working relationships and credibility with global stakeholders.Critical thinking ability, independently and proactively identify problems, propose solutions and executePreferred:

Preferred location - Open to candidates in Zinpro's global footprint with the ability to work remotely.
Schedule Requirements
This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel Requirements
This position requires an estimated 25% travel, but it may be higher depending on business needs. Required travel for global meetings, customer visits and other internal meetings.
