The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is a senior executive responsible for leading and directing the customer acquisition and marketing activities and strategies for New Wave Design. The role involves developing and executing strategies to deliver the planned annual orders plan, compressing the overall customer acquisition cycle, and driving continuous market share growth. It also develops and executes the company’s strategic marketing initiatives to enhance market leadership. The Vice President of Sales and Marketing oversees market research, brand management, product marketing, and digital marketing strategies to ensure alignment with the company’s growth and business objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to achieve the company’s annual orders targets and growth objectives.Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the company’s presence.Enhance brand awareness and reputation in the market through targeted marketing initiatives.Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote the brand and its offerings across all digital channels.Increase the value, volume, and impact of created content (video, white papers, blogs, etc.), maintaining a consistent release schedule with sustained growth in subscribers, downloads, and market reach.Oversee market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.Create and maintain analysis of key market competitors to leverage for business growth and increased market share.Provide critical business intelligence to aid strategy and core business growth.Lead the customer acquisition effort, including overseeing field sales teams and business acquisition strategies.Develop and maintain a robust customer opportunity pipeline and close high-value deals.Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers.Act as a representative of the organization in industry events and conferences.Build and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team; manage the employee experience from interview/hire to off-boarding.Set clear orders and marketing goals, provide mentorship, and drive a culture of collaboration and innovation across the Sales and Marketing team.Manage the sales and marketing budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Monitor and report on the financial performance of sales and marketing initiatives, including comprehensive CRM/opportunity pipeline performance.Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and refine strategies.Qualifications (Education, Experience and Skills):Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.Minimum 10-15 years of experience in sales, marketing, or related field with at least 5 years in a leadership role; experience within the Mil/Aero industry strongly preferred.Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, technology, and competitive landscape; preference for Mil/Aero industry experience.Proven success in driving market share growth and expanding market presence.Strong ability to analyze market data and sales metrics to inform decision-making and direct the field sales team.Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of sensitivity for confidentiality; must be strong in both oral and written communication techniques.Task-oriented with an excellent sense of priority, logic, and objectivity; highly organized and capable of handling several sensitive and important issues simultaneously.Thorough understanding and knowledge of the functional responsibilities and general operating requirements at the corporate office.Physical Parameters:Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds.Must have finger and wrist dexterity with repetitive motion.
