As a Collateral Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for requesting and processing incoming collateral files received from the custodian. The collateral files may contain original notes, mortgages, title commitments, assignments, power of attorneys, and more. You’ll ensure the docs are accurate and delivered to the appropriate location.

About the Role

Review and respond to emails in shared team inbox within required time frame

Review daily payoff emails and take appropriate action

Log and request applicable documents from proper document custodians in the appropriate time frame

Review and log collateral files received from third parties

Ensure documents are delivered to the appropriate party/location

Properly file and retrieve documents from safe

Identify, create and ship any applicable allonges

Review corrected notes for accuracy and delivers to the custodian

Consistently meet minimum production goal numbers while maintaining quality

Ensure outgoing packages are delivered and received by the third party

Run and send pipeline/production reports when needed

Maintain and deepen relationships with supporting internal teams

Promote culture of excellence and have a positive influence on the team

Present in group settings at the appropriate level

Filters noise, amplifies important information and presents information in an easy to digest format

Leverage available resources and display data to drive effective decisions

Assist with minimal client package tasks when needed, such as processing collateral, generating client letters and preparing packages

About You

High School Diploma/ GED

Experience in mortgage document processing/sorting and relevant tools

Comfort with Microsoft Excel and other office tools for data analysis and communication
