primary functions:

Responsible for proactively leading, implementing, and developing the sales and service efforts while creating a memorable member experience. Identify opportunities to help members achieve financial independence. Accountable for overall branch deposit, loan and member growth, as it relates to goals and objectives in order to make a positive impact on the local community.

responsibilities: Leads, supports and implements efforts to ensure a high-quality collaborative and impactful sales and service culture. Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a professional manner. Provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of transactions. Conducts monthly coaching sessions with staff regarding goals and exceeding expectations, recognizing performance, developing employees for the next level and addressing any issues or concerns. Incorporates role play and observations to improve member experience. Coaching expectations to occur more frequently when improved performance is necessary. Displays effective leadership skills through modeling the expected positive behaviors. Takes ownership of individual improvement as well as the improvement of others through ongoing training and feedback. Monitors daily branch activity to include loan production and quality, retention efforts, onboarding of new accounts, cross-selling to both new and existing members and adherence to federal regulations, and credit union policies. Utilize strategies and employ efforts, to include soliciting staff input, to exceed branch goals by building a team of dedicated, proactive and driven team members. Exhibit a thorough knowledge of the credit union's products and services by successfully providing the appropriate product solution to the member. Maintain thorough knowledge of all lending guidelines and policies with proven ability to effectively underwrite loans. Assist AVP Branch Manager with establishing branch business plans. Maintain operational efficiencies and internal controls in coordination with BIR policies and procedures; knowledge and accurate implementation of disaster recovery procedures as needed. Resolve member issues prior to escalation and report any unresolved branch issues, personnel problems and operational concerns to management. Manages the security and safety of the branch and alerts staff to changes in security procedures. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of federal and state laws/regulations governing financial institutions. Ensure branch staff completes annual supplemental and compliance training related to role. Responsible for effectively interviewing and selecting branch personnel for appropriate positions with an emphasis on sales abilities. Oversees management of branch facility to include cleanliness, overall appearance, supplies, etc... Remain abreast of changes in credit union lending policy, procedures, as well as consumer lending practices and willingly share knowledge with others. Assist management with special projects and other duties as assigned. Comply with all federal regulations, credit union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act. Perform job duties in accordance with the Credit Union's values, mission and vision. Perform other duties as assigned. minimum requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field. Minimum five years of credit union/banking experience with an advancing leadership role. Sales team leader with well-developed interpersonal skills essential for coaching employees to exceed expectations. Two or more years supervisory experience required. Self-starter who is driven to exceed goals on consistent basis. Minimum two (2) years lending experience demonstrating consistent attainment of sales goals. Requires knowledge of credit union products and services, consumer loan policy, credit granting criteria, interest rates and how they are computed, title laws, and the required documentation for loans and deposit accounts. Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize efficiently.
