Build effective relationships with all stakeholders, acting as the liaison between the business and technology teams across group companies. Perform analysis, requirements gathering, design, and implementation of information and data reporting solutions. Decompose broad business information needs into well-defined data requirements, including business measures, reference data, and business data definitions. Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential solution options. Responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, determining functional specifications, and data mapping. Work with business users to solicit, analyze, and document business needs around information delivery and present in business requirements documents. Document business/data requirements from source and target applications to support reporting, as well data preparation, staging, and presentation. Responsible for the development and maintenance of software development life cycle (SDLC) artifacts for reporting solutions. Participate in on-going operational Level 3 (L3) support and maintenance for implemented reports. Provide resolution of support tickets and ad hoc requests per established SLAs. Provide resolution of various reporting issues reported. Develop procedures and queries for analysis of reports. Maintain report integrity by establishing, automating, and enhancing operational checks, balance routines, and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs). Formulate and define objectives and scope based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business processes. Work with internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve business results. Define analytics requirements. Work with analytic products to create reporting and dashboard requirements. Work collaboratively with architects, technical leads, and subject matter experts of the various upstream and downstream systems responsible for receiving and/or sending data in support of existing systems. Define acceptance criteria as part of requirements. Review test strategy and test scenarios for QA resources and provide testing support. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) execution and support end-user training, as required for eventual product implementation. Align to the maintenance and enforcement of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, departmental standards, style requirements, and all other procedures necessary for data and system integrity. Work with reporting solutions; analysis and documentation of requirements; modeling; mapping; Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse (DW) concepts and principles; data governance and data management concepts and practices; extract, transform, load (ETL) development; soliciting and clearly defining and documenting required business functionality and non-functional requirements; software development life cycle (SDLC) and software support and maintenance approaches; Power BI; Cognos; and, MS SQL.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technologies, Information Assurance, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or a related field of study, plus three (3) years of experience with reporting solutions; analysis and documentation of requirements; modeling; mapping; Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehouse (DW) concepts and principles; data governance and data management concepts and practices; extract, transform, load (ETL) development; soliciting and clearly defining and documenting required business functionality and non-functional requirements; software development life cycle (SDLC) and software support and maintenance approaches; Power BI; Cognos; and, MS SQL. Telecommuting is permitted.
