This is an onsite-only position based in Redwood City, California. As a software engineer at Dyna Robotics, you will play a pivotal role in developing a wide range of software applications to support our cutting-edge robotic systems. You will lead design and development of backend systems to support remote teleoperation systems, data collection and processing systems, metrics systems, and more. You will collaborate closely with our AI research and hardware teams to enhance the intelligence and reliability of our robotic solutions. This position is essential to our mission of achieving long-term general intelligence in robotic systems.Key Responsibilities
Lead the UX and system design of web applications that support our robotic systems.Collaborate with the team to review and evaluate technical solutions.Lead the implementation of complex web-based AI and robotics tools.Work on full stack web applications including web frontend systems and REST API backends.Collaborate with AI and hardware teams to ensure software integration into hardware and research workstreams.Participate in planning the product direction and developing roadmaps.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.At least 7 years of professional experience in the software industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a tech lead role.Ability to perform hands-on coding to implement complex software systems.Familiarity with coding best practices and design patterns.Experience with full stack app development including databases and REST API backends.Strong understanding of web UX design principles.Proven track record of building highly scalable applications.Strong ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with computer graphics or data visualization technologies such as Three.JS, WebGL, or Unity.Proficiency in AI or robotics technologies.Strong leadership and people management skills.
