to lead a team of talented software engineers and ensure quality engineering support to programs, IRADs and new business pursuits in the Mission Planning and Decision Support (MPDS) Operating Unit. The location of this position is

Beavercreek, OH .The Software Engineering Manager will be working alongside fellow software engineering professionals as we continue to develop and improve the software products for our customers. The position supports the engineering organization goals for providing people, processes and tools to meet the current and future needs of the programs and technologies within the sector portfolio.The selected candidate will provide functional leadership to the team in a strong engineering organization, collaborating with peers across multiple organizations. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills to achieve sustainable top performance and will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in engineering development projectsActive Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) clearanceExperience in managing or coordinating the implementation and delivery of sophisticated software systems in support of Government customersPrevious experience in people and/or technical leadership rolesExperience working on Agile teamsMust be an existing Northrop Grumman employee with technical program tasking or must qualify for a currently-open technical position within Northrop Grumman in Beavercreek, OH.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with subcontractorsExperience with Cost Account ManagementKnowledge of NASIC contracting process and proceduresProgram Management experience working with National Air Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Air Combat Command (ACC) or Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).Experience leading a team in the Engineering department of a matrix-like organizationExperience leading engineering teams using Agile processes and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes and toolsSalary Range:
