to lead a team of talented software engineers and ensure quality engineering support to programs, IRADs, and new business pursuits in the Mission Planning and Decision Support (MPDS) Operating Unit. The location of this position is

Beavercreek, OH . The Software Engineering Manager will be working alongside fellow software engineering professionals as we continue to develop and improve the software products for our customers.The selected candidate will provide functional leadership to the team in a strong engineering organization, collaborating with peers across multiple organizations. The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate strong leadership skills to achieve sustainable top performance. The candidate will have a track record as an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering development projects, or 9+ years of relevant experience in engineering development projects with no degree.Active Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) clearance.Experience in managing or coordinating the implementation and delivery of sophisticated software systems in support of Government customers.Previous experience in people and/or technical leadership roles.Experience working on Agile teams.Must be an existing Northrop Grumman employee with technical program tasking or must qualify for a currently-open technical position within Northrop Grumman in Beavercreek.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with subcontractors.Knowledge of NASIC contracting process and procedures.Program Management experience working with National Air Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Air Combat Command (ACC) or Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).Business development and/or proposal experience.Experience leading a team in the Engineering department of a matrix-like organization.Experience leading engineering teams using Agile processes and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes and tools.Salary Range:
