Addiction Psychiatrist

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking a full-time board certified Addiction Psychiatrist with a strong interest in medical education and curricular development. The successful candidate will provide outstanding leadership and vision to assist in the development of an Addiction Fellowship Program and will also provide direct patient care for the Department of Psychiatry, which will include addiction treatment in either the inpatient or outpatient setting.Current Addiction programs at Elmhurst include Outpatient Chemical Dependency and Methadone Maintenance, Inpatient Addiction consult team, and Emergency Department Addiction team.We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System based on qualifications.
