To support our global outreach, we also operate commercial offices in Belgium, Spain, and Hong Kong.Position Overview:Outsight is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join its growing US team. This is a great opportunity to work for a growth company that’s on the forefront of new technologies.What will be your responsibilities?Serve as the primary technical contact
for deploying our IT solutions in public spaces and smart infrastructures.Lead product installations and manage customer feedback , ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.Analyze and resolve technical issues , contributing to product improvement.Ensure customer satisfaction . Develop and deliver training materials that help customers get the most out of the company's products and services. Deliver onboarding training to new customers to help them understand and adopt Outsight solutions.Collaborate with other teams:
Work closely with other teams, such as sales, marketing, and product development. Provide valuable input on product features, marketing campaigns, and customer support initiatives, and document Feature Requests (tagged as sales or delivery blockers).What are the requirements for the role?BS in Computer Science, Electrical, Industrial, Automotive Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar role.Knowledge of SRE principles and expertise in deploying, monitoring, and alerting software solutions.Working experience with Kubernetes.Programming experience with Python or C++.Clear understanding of TCP, IP, and UDP protocol stack.Understanding of network storage (SAN, NAS, iSCSI) principles and best practices.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Strong team player while possessing the autonomy to manage their own workload.Experience with customer service, technical support, and project management.Ability to work independently on projects with a “can-do” attitude.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.Preferred Qualifications:Masters in Computer Science, Electrical, Industrial, Automotive Engineering or related field.Experience with LiDAR technology.Experience with observability stack such as Grafana.Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.Docker/VM experience.Why join us?A fast-growing leader in the burgeoning field of Spatial Intelligence (73 patents filed, many customers all around the world), awarded the Edge AI and Vision Product of the Year and recognized as Market leader by Gartner, among many others.The opportunity to work in an international start-up on the rise with significant resources and high growth, working with dynamic, experienced and multidisciplinary teams.A position in which you can grow quickly and express your creativity & potential.Working with visionary and passionate management.Outsight is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that pursues and hires a diverse workforce.
