This role will be responsible for improving the performance & experience of our eCommerce applications with a focus on delivering the transition from a custom eCommerce application to the Adobe (Magento) eCommerce platform; and new eCommerce solutions, increasing eCommerce revenue based upon business strategy, goals, requirements, and definitions.Primary responsibilities include managing the day-to-day project of delivering a new eCommerce platform, ensuring feature parity with our existing eCommerce application, and developing new features and enhancements to increase online sales and new customer acquisition. You will collaborate with various Komatsu teams, including the Digital Office, IT, Marketing Communications, Dealers, and various business teams to mature our eCommerce presence. Developing a foundational knowledge of technology systems and business objectives will be key to developing and maintaining critical integrations with our eCommerce platform to drive online sales.Assist in developing and maturing our eCommerce strategy and roadmapServe as an internal Adobe eCommerce subject matter expert, collaborating with knowledge experts for knowledge transfer from existing internal teams/documentation, regarding existing state features and capabilities, technology trends, eCommerce performance, platform integrationsDrive the change management among key business functions redesigning business processes inhibiting the implementation of standard eCommerce practicesCreate and maintain a merchandising plan to enrich product pages with content and media and refine taxonomies in collaboration with product managers, the PIM application team, Marketing Communications, and vendorsWork with the Digital Office, Marketing Communications, and IT teams to manage third-party solution providers driving the planning and scoping that aligns with brand/category eCommerce content requirementsSupport all third-party system integrations and dealer’s ERP integration systems with custom applications & dev teams, supporting eCommerce CIF framework, and website order management, fulfillment, account authentication, pricing, and availabilityAssist in maintaining security and data compliance based on regional regulationsKey Job Responsibilities
Leverage an agile methodology to craft and refine epics, feature definitions, user stories & acceptance criteria suitable for internal and external design and development teamsCollaborate with key stakeholders, functional leads, and system owners to drive business process changes to support the implementation of standard eCommerce practicesHost and participate in discovery sessions with dealers and end users identifying opportunities to improve the online customer experienceEnsure requirements meet needs while remaining within the defined project scopeCollaborate with solution implementation partners, internal technical architects, and development leads to ensure that the technical solutions meet the desired business outcomesCommunicate to internal and solution implementation partners the business requirements and functional specifications during internal refinement sessions, sprint planning, and support for the development team throughout the implementation processProvide feedback and recommendations for business process redesign and documentation as needed for existing and new technologies that align with our enterprise architecture strategyInvestigate problems and issues that arise during implementation and deliver solutionsPlan and support user acceptance testing with development and internal resourcesMaintain documentation on system functionality and featuresCollaborate with the UX and UI design lead to refine the website design and user experience to ensure optimal performance and ensure continuity in the agile process for business requirements and processes for features that require designWork on a prioritized funnel of features and enhancements which supports business priorities and delivers online growthWork with Analytics lead to set up standard reports and dashboards for Commerce which measure the health and performance of KPIs of online sales & performanceQualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, information systems, communications, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of eCommerce experience within a marketing department supporting direct to consumer (B2C) and dealer/distributor (B2B) sales channelsIn-depth knowledge of eCommerce business operations and systems requirements processesMinimum of 5 years of hands-on experience using an eCommerce platformExperience building and managing eCommerce websites with Adobe Commerce/Magento solutionsExperience interfacing an eCommerce website with a Dealer ERP business systemsExperience with Informatica P360 Product Information Management systems interfacing content with eCommerce applicationsExperience writing epics, user stories, feature, and release definitions for development teamsExperience with DevOps & Agile processes, e.g. Azure DevOps ServicesExperience building marketing dashboards with data visualization toolsFamiliar with UX best practices, landing page creation, responsive design and mobile-first layoutsFamiliar with CDP driven automation and personalizationFamiliar with usability testing practices and methodologiesFamiliar with HTML/CSSExcellent project management and communication skillsStrong organizational and presentation skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and manage priorities, present, and share strategies, working across organizational teams to deliver results.Additional Information
Office environment in a hybrid work setting.Percentage of Travel: 10% or less.
