Position Overview:

Tamasha Modern Indian is seeking experienced servers to join our dynamic team. The Server will be responsible for providing excellent service and contributing to the overall vibrant atmosphere of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Offer recommendations and suggestions based on their preferences.

Menu Knowledge:Have a thorough understanding of the food menu, ingredients, spices, and allergens.

Duties:

Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Oversee and coordinate the activities of the serving staff.

Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.

Assist in food preparation and plating as needed.

Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately.

Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

Address any customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner.

Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.

Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.

Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery.

Proficient in operating POS systems and cash registers.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff members effectively.

Qualifications:

Strong background in food service, including fine dining restaurant experience and food handling.

Proficiency in POS systems, with a preference for experience with Aloha POS and Micros POS.

Excellent customer service skills with a focus on upselling and guest satisfaction.

Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills.

Previous experience in fine dining establishments is a plus.

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours:

12 – 40 per week
