Special Commitment Center has an opportunity for you to join our team as an Administrative Assistant 3. This position supports the Chief of Clinical Services. The Special Commitment Center is committed to providing evidence-based treatment to reduce recidivism and increase public safety. Besides comprehensive family insurance for medical, dental, and vision, these perks also may include:Remote/telework/flexible schedules (depending on position)Up to 25 paid vacation days a year8 hours of paid sick leave per month12 paid holidays a yearGenerous retirement planFlex Spending AccountsDependent Care AssistanceDeferred CompensationFerry transportation from Steilacoom to McNeil Island and so much more!Some of what you'll do:Provide administrative support to the Clinical Services department and those in their chain of command.File, maintain and retrieve clinical records, reports, and other documents including legal documents, physiological testing, clinical team progress notes, pre-commitment evaluation, etc.Create and modify documents such as reports, databases, contract forms, invoices, etc. using word processing, spreadsheet, and/or other presentation software for the Clinical department and facility-wide use.Set up and coordinate case presentations and resident interviews with clinical staff. Distribute agenda and other documents needed for meetings.Maintain daily time keeping record and calendar of leave for Chief of Clinical Services staff.Serve as primary Administrator of Offender Watch for SCC, and work with outside agencies to update and maintain Offender Watch database.Coordinate referrals for physiological testing, contacting contractors, scheduling assessments and tracking completion of deliverables.What we're looking for:Strong organization and administrative skills.Ability to prioritize work, find information quickly, complete work, and return to critical tasks in the midst of multiple interruptions.Ability to independently manage time and tasks.Strong sense of customer service and team orientation.Advanced experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher, Visio, and internet applications including familiarity with SharePoint.Strong sense of customer service with a positive attitude.Who should apply?High school diploma or GED and three years of progressively responsible, recent experience in office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting or general administrative work experience, and able to type accurately at a net speed of 50 words per minute.OR Formal education will substitute for year-for-year experience.Questions?
