Behavioral Health Administration (BHA)
is seeking an Administrative Assistant 3 to join their
Office of Forensic Mental Health Services (OFMHS)
in a hybrid work environment, including Olympia, Seattle and Tacoma. We are a fun, caring and supportive group looking for a new team member who shares our passion to promote excellent forensic mental health care, community safety and continuous improvement for better outcomes for our agency, our clients, and our community.Pierce and Snohomish County employees are eligible to receive an Orca Card for transportation needs. King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use.
Some of what you'll do:
Keeps leadership apprised of significant and important issues that require their review or action. Responds to internal issues and requests involving the operation and assignment of OFMHS staff.Assists OFMHS Supervisors with the recruitment process by obtaining and tracking applications using NEOGOV, scheduling interviews with panel and job applicants, assists preparing interview packets and all documents related to the hiring process in coordination with New Employee Orientation and OFMHS hiring procedures.Prepares official communications and documents for the Deputy Director and direct reports to include memos, charts, proposals, work instructions, reports, presentations, and official correspondence.Coordinates administrative tasks and projects as assigned by the Deputy Director and direct reports and ensures that component tasks are delegated and communicated to appropriate staff. Independently monitors, assesses, and reports on progress of assigned projects.Works collaboratively with other staff to ensure office operations are aligned with OFMHS objectives and expectations. Establishes office standards, protocols, and procedures to ensure that all office goals are met. Establishes and maintains record and filing system that support and adhere to retention requirements for records.Assist in the preparation of Trueblood monitoring requirements to include data gathering, monitoring of assignment deadlines, and monitoring of program/unit outcome data.Maintains and contributes to policy and procedures regarding work processes. Evaluates the costs and approvals for purchasing and expenditures of the unit.Participates in staff meetings including taking minutes.

Who should apply?
Professionals with three years of progressively responsible experience* in office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, or general administrative work setting AND A High School Diploma or GED.*Note:
Formal education may substitute for work experience.
