SAP Release Manager

Position Summary:Bull City Talent Group's direct client has an immediate need for an SAP Release Manager to assist with overseeing and managing the release of software applications and IT services across various teams within the organization. This role will be focused around ensuring that new features, patches, and enhancements are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards of the organization, minimizing any disruption to ongoing business operations. The SAP Release Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, including developers, QA teams, IT operations, and business units, to promote the seamless integration and deployment of new solutions. They must balance technical proficiency with a deep understanding of business needs to ensure successful release cycles. The application of knowledge in system configuration, integration testing, and day-to-day support following the established change and release management processes will be critical to this role.Required Skills & Experience:15+ Years of business and IT experience8+ years of SAP experienceExcellent communication skills with proven history of communicating directly with technical teams and business stakeholdersExcellent organization skills - with ability to build cookbook for release management outlining schedules and communication cadences with cross-functional teamsMinimum of 5 years of experience in IT release management, project management, or a related fieldProven track record of managing complex software releases in a fast-paced environmentHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and release automation toolsKnowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes)Strong understanding of IT operations, including database management, server maintenance, and network configurationsExperience configuring multiple SAP modules OR experience across multiple industries such as Food, Chemicals, Life Sciences, Pharma, Oil & Gas etc.Experience in multiple, full lifecycle SAP implementations
