At the same time, we formed a pan-HP team dedicated to building a strong foundation and driving the business forward.Join a team dedicated to developing and testing these cutting-edge application platforms and services for the next wave of both HP customer solutions and internal engineering efficiencies.This position will drive and work closely with other software application engineers, architects, technology leads and directly engage with internal and external software development teams to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions.Responsibilities:Own individual contributions to software applications development projects; meets project deliverables by collaborating with engineering, sales, and customer services departments.Allocate resources to complete programming projects, and design detailed plans to ensure applications are functioning properly.Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of end-user applications software running on local, networked, and Internet-based platforms.Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution.Provide direction to team activities and facilitate information validation and team decision-making processes. Exercise expertise and judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution.Provide direction to team activities, outcomes, and facilitate information validation.Knowledge & Skills:Ability to develop fast, efficient, and reusable solutions on client applications.Develop and maintain shared code leverageable from Windows and mobile applications.Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.Programming knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.Experience building web UI components using React.Experience on Windows development is desirable.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence. Typically 8 plus years of experience.The base pay range for this role is $118,050 to $181,800 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).
