Provide technical leadership and documentation coordination including development of design drawings, technical documentation, and leading project team assignmentsDirect production of schematic, design development and construction documents; make decisions and negotiate critical issues in collaboration with Project ManagerBring subject matter expertise to the table when it comes to the planning and design of aviation-related facilities at medium and large hub airports.Establish budget, task schedule, and other components of the work plan with Project ManagerMaintain contact with clients, consultants, and contractorsParticipate in marketing efforts and may lead presentations to prospective clientsDirect, organize, and mentor junior staff with responsibility for oversightRequirementsTo join us, you should have:A professional degree in Architecture, Design, or related discipline8+ years of experience with a significant amount of relevant aviation project experience.Terminal and concourse architecture experience requiredUnderstanding of airport and airline client relationshipsKnowledge of the aviation market sector's unique challenges for planning, design, and regulation is preferred.Proven knowledge of terminal planning, programming, site planning, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering.Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; Revit strongly preferredNCARB preferredLicensure requiredWe foster a culture that is diverse and inclusive and strive for pay practices that are fair, competitive and reflect our commitment to pay equity.
