Network Cloud SETA
to support SAIC’s Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO’s Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for acquiring advanced mission control and processing systems to adapt the ground architecture to maximize the utility of the organization's systems, share data with Mission Partners, and continue to deliver innovative and agile capabilities for ground development.As the
Network Cloud SETA , you will provide SETA support to assist in the technical and acquisition support delivering multi-cloud solutions to the organization. You will focus on developing and deploying required hardware and software solutions to support data distribution in support of mission requirements. Your job will be to ensure the customer needs are being met by our development contractors.Responsibilities Include:Establish relationships with internal and external developers to better understand network issues and effectively describe detailed technical issues to an executive audience.Evaluate ongoing maintenance and development to ensure it meets readiness requirements to support enterprise test activities.Providing advisory services to maintain and evolve the architecture based on rapidly evolving mission needs and ensure optimization of cost, consumption, and performance of services are achieved across all service and platform providers.Provide overall technical expertise by troubleshooting network issues through constructive collaboration while ensuring solution meets Government and stakeholder requirements.Support operational data distribution systems by working as a trusted liaison to proactively drive resolution of technical challenges between developers, stakeholders, and program leadership.Advising senior and technical personnel to aid in the delivery of robust, scalable on-prem or cloud-based software architecture that meets or exceeds data distribution requirements.Monitor Government sponsored development efforts by evaluating current and future architecture, supporting software integration, and providing ongoing assessment of products, service, and platform providers.Providing creative and innovative architectural solutions to ill-defined requirements.Reviewing and assessing impact of proposed scope changes to future architectures.QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.Strong knowledge of customer enterprise network engineering and/or network operations.Familiarity with computing and operating systems (OS), on-premises hardware, and cloud computing platforms, such as Linux, Windows, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).Project management skills to orchestrate cloud migrations and new system integrations seamlessly.High-level collaboration skills to assist with several different areas of cloud architecture management.Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies.Ability to explain technical issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong customer service skills, teaming skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities.Prior NRO support experience a plus.SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
