Star Blends is a full-service feed manufacturing facility with locations in Sparta and Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. At Star Blends, we do more than just feed the Midwest's livestock – we support and encourage the nation’s next farmers through 4-H and Future Farmers of America. Our mission is clear: to improve farmers' livelihoods through nutrition, and to feed their animals like our own.The Role - What Job Responsibilities Look Like:
As our Sales Director, you will lead and develop a talented team of sales professionals, driving sales growth, representing Star Blends' products in the market, and fostering strategic partnerships within our specified geographic regions. You will directly manage three employees and travel throughout central and southern Wisconsin, southeast Minnesota, and northern Iowa, making a tangible difference in the lives of farmers and communities.Qualifications - What You Bring To The Table:
Bachelor's degree in business or related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in agricultural sales leadership roles, preferably in feed manufacturing or animal nutritionStrong business and financial acumen (large focus on forecasting)Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targetsStrong leadership and team development skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsBenefits - What We Offer:
