We seek out those professionals performing aligned with our core values - integrity, commitment, respect and excellent reputation.Job DescriptionIndependently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the surveying work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope.Perform work that involves conventional surveying practice but may include a variety of complex features.Direct conversations with clients at the beginning, during, and end of projects.Capable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.Seal professional surveying documents.Other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsSIT or RPLS Licensure/DOT Precertification.Strong Computer Skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and Microsoft Office.Prior experience with civil engineering projects strongly preferred.Ability to commute to Houston office.BGE is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
