Job Summary
Provides customer service to prospective students, families, and educational partners, assisting them with the admissions process. Conducts meetings and presentations that highlight the university's offerings. Manages inquiries and communications effectively, utilizing CRM and other tools. Collaborates with university departments to deliver informative presentations and events. Ensures students receive accurate guidance on immigration and visa processes. May require local travel.Works as an on-site recruitment officer for information sessions, admissions presentations, workshops, student meetings, and counselor relationship building. These events may take place in person or through virtual channels; this position may be asked to participate in local travel.Serves as main support for armchair recruitment which includes email communication, SalesForce casework, LiveChat/WhatsApp responses and all relevant outreach.Assists the Office of Admissions with advising and counseling procedures for undergraduate degree-seeking students. Provides advice to constituents regarding student visa types, immigration policy, and other matters regarding study in the US and Florida.Serves as point of contact between Admissions and OneStop department specifically regarding escalated situations and assistance as needed. Reports to the Assistant/Associate Director and ultimately supports the admissions and enrollment goals of the university.Participates in all on-campus recruitment events including Open Houses, Admitted Student Days, and additional ad-hoc events. Serves as a University card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University Credit card policies and procedures.Remains up to date on educational practices and the latest information on academic policy regarding undergraduate admissions standards, ethics, state rules, national and international policy as it relates to college admissions.Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and some related experience.
Desired Qualifications
Experience working in a customer service environment.Experience with university admissions process.Ability to analyze data and learn new technology.Ability to present in a large group setting.
