The Details:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our People & Talent team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full recruitment cycle for a variety of roles including senior-level positions. They will also oversee the management of contractors and temporary worker recruiting as well as assist in the building of Palomar’s Early-In-Career hiring (university recruiting). This role requires someone with a deep understanding of talent acquisition strategies, strong relationship building skills, utilization of metrics to improve talent attraction, and the tenacity to identify and attract top talent in a competitive market.
What will you do:
Full Cycle Recruitment: manage the entire recruitment process from job posting and sourcing candidates to interviewing, selecting, and extending offers.
Process Design and Execution: design, refine, and oversee all recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a positive candidate experience.
Candidate Sourcing: utilize a variety of sourcing methods to identify and engage potential candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific resources.
Candidate Screening and Selection: conduct thorough candidate screenings, including resume reviews, interviews, and assessments, to ensure a strong fit with the company's culture and requirements.
Pipeline Management: build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
Contractor and Temporary Worker Management: manage the recruitment and onboarding processes for contractors and temporary workers, ensuring alignment with company policies and state regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: partner with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and provide expert guidance on recruiting strategies and best practices.
Employer Branding: enhance the company's employer brand by promoting a positive image and creating an attractive and engaging candidate experience.
Metrics and Reporting: track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes and provide regular reports to senior management.
Compliance: ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Team Leadership: mentor and provide guidance to junior recruiters and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Effectively communicate Palomar’s values and position details, including employment eligibility requirements, duties, responsibilities, schedule, benefits, and compensation to candidates.
Plan and attend campus events such as career fairs, information sessions, and other campus related activities while sharing Palomar’s culture and values.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
At least 5 years of direct full cycle recruiting and process in a senior role. Insurance experience preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Strong understanding of recruiting best practices.
Demonstrate sound judgment and operate with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
Proven experience designing and executing multiple sourcing strategies, including direct targeting, for a variety of positions and levels within a company.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Pay Range:
$82,500 - $125,000
The above pay range is for all US-based roles based on function and level, benchmarked against companies of comparable size and scope. To be compliant with local legislation as well as provide greater transparency to candidates, we disclose salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired job location. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and the opportunity for annual long-term incentive stock grants. In addition, we offer a highly competitive benefits package. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and qualifications, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
