We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as the Program Manager Lead Security Specialist at a federal client site in Washington, DC. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee all security support functions, including personnel security, project security, and construction security, while serving as the primary representative of the company to the Chief Security Officer and client leadership. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security management, with a strong background in multiple security disciplines and a proven ability to lead and mentor teams. If you are a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest security standards, we encourage you to apply for this pivotal role.General Description:The Program Manager Lead Security Specialist will serve as the primary representative of the company, overseeing all security support roles, including Personnel Security Specialists, Project Security Coordinators, Construction Security Technicians, and others. This position requires close collaboration with CSO leadership to ensure the effective planning, development, implementation, and management of various security programs across physical, personnel, and information security disciplines.Major Duties:Authority and Representation:
Represent the company in all matters related to security, including schedules, employee assignments, performance assessments, disciplinary actions, reports, and administrative tasks.Security Program Management:
Assist in planning, developing, implementing, and managing a range of security programs in consultation with the Security Division. These programs will cover physical, personnel, and information security.Supervision:
Provide leadership and supervision to all security specialists and support roles, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of security functions.Team Building:
Build, coach, train, and mentor security teams to enhance performance and develop skills.Additional Duties:
Perform other security-related duties as assigned to support the overall mission and goals of the security program.Professional Qualifications/Skills:Security Clearance:
Must possess and maintain a current Top Secret personnel security clearance.Experience:
Minimum of six (6), preferably eight (8), years of supervisory or team leader experience in managing personnel and coordinating disciplinary actions within the security field.Certifications:
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Security Fundamentals Professional Certification is required.Technical Communication:
Ability to discuss complex technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government officials, ensuring clear and effective communication.Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.Security Knowledge:
Demonstrated expertise in multiple security disciplines, including information, industrial, physical, personnel security, and security training.Multi-tasking Ability:
Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed.Leadership:
Proven ability to build, coach, train, and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday 9am - 5pm. This position may require flexibility to manage tasks as needed.Location:
