SUMMARY:Business Intelligence is responsible for leading the development of analytics strategy and implementation of reporting, data visualization, and other BI solutions tailored to the strategic needs of the field operations, finance and executive teams. This role focuses on partnering with data engineering and leveraging advanced BI tools and data analytics to drive financial and operational insights and support executive decision-making.CORE DUTIES:Strategic Collaboration:Work directly with operations, hospital, finance and executive teams to understand their data needs in support of business objectives and define and execute on the strategic BI roadmap.Develop tailored BI and data visualization solutions that align with the strategic goals of the organization, enhancing operational dashboards, KPI tracking and trending, best practice benchmarking, financial forecasting and automated reporting, and executive and operational decision support tools.BI Solution Development:Implement and manage BI systems that integrate with financial systems and data sources, using technologies like Snowflake, PowerBI, and Tableau.Design user friendly analytical reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights tailored to various stakeholder needs (i.e. field operators, hospital directors, FP&A team, marketing).Operational Management:Ensure the accuracy, consistency and availability of both real-time and retrospective financial analytics and reporting tools.Conduct regular reviews and optimizations of BI tools and systems to meet evolving business requirements, data sources and needs.Data Management:Ensure data integrity and hospital site-to-site comparability across all applications. Work directly with hospital operators to coordinate the design and implementation of strategies for consistent data entry.Performance Analysis:Support the business teams in analyzing the effectiveness of various software and BI applications and processes in terms of improving productivity, service delivery and user satisfaction.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, with a demonstrated focus on financial and operational data analysis and strategic business support.Deep expertise in BI technologies such as SQL Server, Snowflake, Tableau, and PowerBI.Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial analysis and how financial analysis can drive operational insights and continuous improvement efforts.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.Professional Experience:Business Intelligence Expertise:

At least 7 years of experience in developing and implementing BI solutions, with a proven track record in roles of increasing responsibility that directly support financial decision-making and strategic business initiatives.Financial Acumen:

Experience working closely with financial systems and an understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Knowledge of key financial metrics and their interpretation in the form of KPIs for strategic use is crucial.Project Management:

Experience in managing BI projects from conception through to deployment, including gathering requirements, coordinating with different stakeholders, and overseeing the development lifecycle.Technical Skills:SQL and Database Management:

Advanced proficiency in SQL, particularly T-SQL, for complex querying, data manipulation, and management within SQL Server environments.Snowflake Native Query Language:

In-depth knowledge of Snowflake's native query language to leverage the full capabilities of the Snowflake Data Cloud for business intelligence and analytics.BI Tools and Platforms:

Proficiency in modern BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, and data platforms including Snowflake, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Microsoft Data Lake.Data Warehousing:

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including architecture, ETL processes, and data modeling. Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, SQL Server or Azure SQL is particularly important.Advanced Analytics:

Skills in advanced analytics techniques to derive deeper insights from data.Data Integration and Interoperability:Web API Interaction:

Proficient in interfacing with various Web APIs to consume data directly from external services. This involves understanding authentication methods, request formats, and handling responses.JSON Data Handling:

Skilled in parsing and manipulating JSON, a common data format for web communication. This includes transforming JSON data into formats suitable for analysis and reporting within BI tools.Data Integration Techniques:

Experience in integrating and harmonizing data from disparate sources, including web APIs, ensuring seamless data flow into business intelligence systems for real-time analytics.Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Stakeholder Engagement:

Excellent communication skills are critical for liaising with business teams. The ability to translate complex technical details into clear, actionable insights that can be understood by non-technical stakeholders.Act as the primary BI point of contact for the finance and executive teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on BI projects, priorities, timelines, milestones and outcomes.Presentation Skills:

Proficiency in preparing and delivering presentations to senior management, highlighting key data insights and business implications effectively.Personal Attributes:Analytical Thinking:
