As the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition for the Diabetes business at Medtronic, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of talent acquisition efforts, ensuring that we attract top-tier talent to drive innovation and impact in the diabetes space. You will be at the forefront of transforming how we approach talent acquisition, creating an innovative, growth-focused culture rooted in excellence. This pivotal role involves designing and delivering world-class solutions that align with our business objectives, enhancing both the candidate and internal stakeholder experience.

You will build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment between talent acquisition strategies and the evolving needs of the business. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Develop TA Strategies:
In partnership with the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, shape and drive talent acquisition strategies tailored to the Diabetes business, focusing on elevating team capabilities and embedding quality, inclusivity, and efficiency in all hiring processes.
Forge Strategic Partnerships:
Collaborate closely with senior business leaders and HR to ensure talent acquisition efforts are tightly aligned with business goals, delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
Leverage Data for Impact:
Establish and monitor key metrics to assess the effectiveness and capacity of talent acquisition initiatives, using data to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Lead and Mentor Recruiters:
Provide strategic oversight and leadership to the Diabetes recruiters, focusing on performance management, talent development, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Drive Team Excellence:
Ensure your team has the tools and guidance needed to excel by creating opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and career growth.
Enhance Processes and Technology:
Continuously improve talent acquisition processes and optimize the use of technology, working in collaboration with global peers to ensure consistency and best practices are upheld.
Senior-Level Recruitment:
Partner with the Senior Director of TA and the internal executive recruitment team to strategize on the hiring of Director-level and above roles, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Financial Stewardship:
Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by effectively managing agency spend, aligning efforts with the Annual Operating Plan.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience in talent acquisition (or 5+ years with an Advanced degree) plus 5+ years of managerial experience.

Familiarity with managing Applicant Tracking Systems and other TA technologies to improve recruitment operations.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $144,800.00 - $217,200.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
