As the Medtronic Diabetes

Senior Marketing Research Program Manager,

you will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing research plans working in close partnership with other marketing and functional stakeholders to optimize decision making and maximize the customer experience.

This role is based in Northridge, CA and is in the office approximately 3 days per week.

Responsibilities include:

Lead the market research /insights’ function and find strategic opportunities to inspire the organization with data and learnings.

Design, execute, and deliver high-impact primary and secondary research (both quantitative and qualitative), translating findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Create clear, compelling, and data-driven research presentations that influence senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization.

Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, providing insights and guidance on how to action against key learnings.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key research objectives and ensure alignment with strategy and business goals.

Utilize various market research methodologies, such as surveys, focus groups, and interviews, to gather insights and data.

Hands-on experience in writing surveys and developing discussion guides.

Manage external vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of research projects.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in the execution of market research activities.

Mentor and develop junior market research team members.

Continuously monitor and improve market research processes and methodologies.

Travel approximately 15-20%.

Must Haves: Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience in primary market research or Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in primary market research.

In addition, must have at least 5 years of managerial experience (preferred is a mix of people, program and project management).

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive Experience in Primary Market Research: 8-10 years of experience in primary market research, with a strong understanding of various research methodologies and their applications in the Healthcare Industry.

Experience in a fast-paced environment and managing through ambiguity; ability to juggle a variety of projects concurrently and the ability to work independently and demonstrate thought leadership.

Knowledge of Medical Device Industry and Diabetes.

Proven track record of leading and managing a team of market researchers, providing strategic guidance and direction to achieve business objectives.

Strong Analytical Skills; ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present research findings to different stakeholders and influence decision-making.

Track record in working cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, sales, and service.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $148,800.00 - $223,200.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
