Responsibilities
The role you’re interested in…As the Sr. Manager, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), you will help develop and integrate local RGM capabilities, providing critical support for portfolio strategy development and improved execution at the market level. This includes championing engagement and best practices as the center of excellence for Trade Promo Effectiveness, Strategic Pricing, Price Pack Architecture and Trade Architecture. This role will play a crucial role in the development of sustainable and profitable value growth for PNC and our customers, working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders while serving as a key business partner for Sales, Sales Strategy, Finance, and Marketing.You will do this by:Provide analytics that identify opportunities for pricing and pack architecture and promotional improvement. Establish product and segment recommendations by retailer, channel (and region) based on identified opportunities and insights. Align with key internal stakeholders (brand, sales strategy, finance, sales).Help develop trade architecture structure and metrics to improve mix of working to non-working trade funds and overall ROI of trade investment.Lead trade analytics to improve the return on trade investments and develop recommendations for trade promotion optimization.Collaborate with brand, sales, and finance in the development of customer plans, business proposals, and marketing programs specifically quantifying the ‘cost of the plan’ in terms of trade investment needed to execute promotional strategies and deliver on financial goals.Lead the creation and implementation of promotional guidelines by price promotional group, category and retailer based on post evaluation of previous activities, a clear understanding of market or competitive movement and price elasticities.Work with sales teams to translate price/mix and pack-price architecture strategies into commercial plans.Supports annual and ongoing planning process for customer specific programs.Develop and present analytics to the organization that highlights business risks and opportunities.Partnering with Category Leadership and Sales Strategy to drive more compelling Retailer Value Propositions.You Bring:Strong skills in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.Ability to excel in a highly cross-functional and collaborative environment.Proven functional/technical understanding and know-how across all revenue growth management pillars.Exemplify strong verbal/written communication, work planning, and organization skills.Outstanding interpersonal and analytical skills and ‘can-do’ attitude with strong influencing & problem-solving capabilities; ability to stand alone, challenge the status quo and identify continuous improvement opportunities for sustainable growth for all key stakeholders.Ability to roll up your sleeves, feel comfortable in a fast-changing marketplace and driving high-quality decisions often with incomplete data.Understanding of P&L management.Proficiency with MS Office, syndicated data, or other customer specific data measures.The work environment…So, what’s it like to work here? Develop the recommendations and facilitate the shift across functions & systems.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?Education:Bachelor’s degree required.Experience:7+ years of business experience, preferably spent in Trade Planning/Revenue Management within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry.Skills and mindset:Works well under pressure and meets deadlines.Collaborative business partner with both Field Sales and Cross-Functionals (Marketing, Finance, Ops, etc.).At ease presenting key results verbally, in writing and visually to larger, VP-level audience.Strong analytical mindset and an excellent understanding of the P&L and key RGM levers to drive both top and bottom-line growth.Must have a high level of analytical skills, with an ability to distil information and uncover insights from a variety of sources.Agile in Excel, NetSuite, and PowerPoint.
