Responsibilities:Build responsive and adaptive web UIs leveraging contemporary technologies and design trends.Translate user flows and user experience mock-ups into code.Build and enhance supporting documentation.Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, and the existing development team.Present and prototype new ideas, and regularly look for areas of improvement within existing applications.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, graphic design, or related field.2+ years or demonstrable strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JQuery.2+ years of experience server-side development using PHP and MySQL.2+ years’ experience using front end frameworks (i.e. Angular JS, Bootstrap, W3.CSS, JQuery UI).Firm understanding of visual design concepts (graphics, marketing, typography, layout, etc.).Strong spoken and written communication skills.Preferred:Solid understanding of imaging software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator.Strong desire to move projects forward and be proactive.Familiarity with content management systems, such as SharePoint or WordPress.Additional Information
BTG is located in Washington, DC with project offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic States. This is a part-time, 6-month contract position located in Washington, DC with partial virtual capacity.
