Sussex County FA
Chief Executive Officer
Sussex County FA, Sussex, Wisconsin, United States, 53089
We are seeking to recruit an inspiring, dynamic and motivated leader as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), to transform and lead our organisation forwards and deliver the ambitions set out in our new business strategy.
We are looking for an energising, forward-thinking leader who thrives in a strategic leadership role and has the ability to work with and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. To be successful, you will need to have experience in transformational change and have a passion for grassroots sport.
The CEO is accountable for the delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy in Sussex and the Sussex County FA Business Strategy. The CEO will also be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day running of the organisation and will spearhead our strategic direction and culture and act as an ambassador for grassroots football across the County. As Senior Safeguarding Lead (SSL) as outlined in The FA’s Safeguarding 365 standard, the CEO will be responsible for leading the team to meet the compliance requirements for safeguarding within the Association, overseeing effective safeguarding delivery across grassroots football in Sussex.
It is expected that the CEO is a full-time position, with a salary that is comparable to similar positions in the sports governance sector.
However, we are open to flexible working considerations and/or job share applications. Due to the nature of the role, regular weekend and evening work will be required throughout the football season as part of the contracted terms of employment.
We are committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk, and anyone working with us will be required to follow our safeguarding policies.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check through The FA DBS process. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
Closing date for applications is 12pm on Friday 8 November 2024, with interviews to be scheduled from late November onwards.
