The Managing Director at this luxury hotel property is dedicated to overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, balancing guest satisfaction, staff management, and financial performance. This individual ensures that the establishment maintains its high standards of luxury and consistently delivers an exceptional guest experience. Key responsibilities include:Providing inspirational leadership and motivation.Communicating effectively across all levels of the business.Elevating the guest experience through proactive engagement.Leading by example, with a commitment to goal achievement.Applying an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.Overseeing financial management, including budgeting and revenue targets.Fostering team member development and retention.Representing the brand through marketing initiatives.Ensuring compliance with regulations.Driving innovation and strategic development.Managing crises and resolving issues efficiently.Essential Functions:Develop and implement strategies to achieve ownership's objectives.Prepare action plans across departments to drive profitability.Lead with intellectual maturity and ethical practices.Align hotel operations with strategic goals and brand standards.Supervise executive teams, motivating high performance.Optimize revenue and pricing through strategic revenue management.Represent operational needs in development and renovation projects.Maintain transparent, trustful relationships with stakeholders.Prepare, present, and interpret financial data to identify improvements.Sustain operational excellence to uphold brand leadership.Engage in efforts to retain and attract new guests.Ensure facility maintenance and improvements.Recruit and retain top talent aligned with the brand’s culture.Champion a collaborative People & Culture environment.Implement sustainability initiatives and support LEED certification.Successful Applicant Requirements:Academic background in hotel management or related fields; a master’s degree is advantageous.Career experience in luxury hospitality, with expertise in strategic planning.Specialization in F&B, Rooms, or similar roles (e.g., Hotel Manager, GM).Deep market knowledge and awareness of competitors.Leadership characterized by calmness and emotional control.Proficiency in English, with additional languages as a plus.Familiarity with the wellness sector.Experience within international and luxury hotel brands.Benefits:Competitive pay and flexible paid time off.401(k) with company matching.Educational reimbursement.Complimentary downtown parking and dry cleaning.Subsidized health coverage for full-time employees.
