This resource would lead DHL’s IT Data Analytics and AI team working on creating and onboarding data products, analytics products, and AI solutions. Additionally, the role entails leading North America application development team responsible for development, delivery, and support for DHL software extensions, microservices, and proprietary software tools. This role represents the region in the global Enterprise Architecture Community, and as a member of the global Core EA Team influences the global EA standards, principles, and governance model.Day to Day:Defines regional EA-specific principles and standards to steer the solution IT architecture.Supports the region in steering the IT architecture according to the global EA principles and guidelines.Leads team focused on development and deployment of data products, analytics products, and AI technology.Aligns and prioritizes regional and global data analytics initiatives to drive reuse and value.Leads IT team focused on the North America application development team responsible for development, delivery, and support for DHL software extensions, microservices, and proprietary software tools.Manages regional IT specific technology lifecycle in alignment with global Enterprise Architecture strategy and translates it into a regional transformation roadmap.Contributes to the definition of blueprints, templates, and patterns that support standardization of solution architecture across DHL Supply Chain.Provides guidance for decision making and applies expertise for the respective regional IT architecture.Ensures alignment of business IT roadmaps with the overall architecture roadmap and project portfolio in mind.Creates and maintains a ‘big picture’ for the business, information, application, technology, infrastructure, and security architecture layers and their artifacts and aligns with stakeholders and counterparts.Aligns the domain IT architecture across business domains and consults with domain and regional IT leaders on EA topics.Manages and supports the evaluation of our legacy IT landscape to ensure that retirement/migration plans are maintained in the EA repository and are managed consistently in the region in accordance with the domain roadmaps and business priorities.Reviews the Enterprise Architecture regularly, measures the data quality of the EA repository, and initiates remediation where necessary.Responsibilities:Enterprise Architecture principles and standardsEnterprise Architecture roadmapDevelopment and deployment of data products, data analytics products, and AI solutions.Development and deployment of microservices, software extensions, and proprietary applications that differentiate DHL Supply Chain North America.Evaluation of our legacy IT landscape to ensure that product retirement/migration plans are aligned with regional and global roadmapsIntegration of artifacts, methods, governance, and processes for the business, data, application, technology, infrastructure, and security architecture layersEnterprise architecture repository and toolingEnablement and support of EA-related strategic programs and projectsRequired Education and ExperienceMinimum 10 years of relevant experience in IT functions with leadership responsibility, requiredManages and leads teams through expertise in all areas of the IT function, requiredBachelor's Degree, requiredOur Organization has a business casual environment and focuses on teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement.
