We are singularly focused on designing, building, and operating a fleet of multi-purpose commercial planetary rovers to extend and enhance humanity’s presence in the solar system. As a Sr. DevOps Engineer at Astrolab, you’ll design and manage automated testing, deployment processes, and scalable infrastructure for our planetary rover missions. You will drive CI/CD adoption, develop internal tools to enhance productivity and stay at the forefront of systems, networking, and security technologies. Ideal candidates have experience with cloud services, CI/CD platforms, containerization, scripting, and Agile methodologies, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and frameworks.What You’ll Be Doing:Design, deploy, and manage automated testing and deployment workflows
Define and implement scalable infrastructure solutions
Lead the adoption of CI/CD best practices across the software team.
Develop internal tools to boost the team's productivity
Deliver analytics on the software tools utilized by the team
Stay ahead of advancements in systems, networking, security, and virtualization technologies
What's Prepared You:Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field
5+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), monitoring and logging tools like Grafana and Datadog, and automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
Experience with REST APIs and Microservers
Proficient with containerization technologies, particularly Docker
Strong background in both Windows and Linux scripting
Skilled in scripting languages like Python and PowerShell
Extensive experience with version control systems
Proven track record working within Agile methodologies
Quick to learn and adapt to new tools and frameworks with ease
