Job Description
The Associate I/II will be supporting drug development studies and assisting existing research efforts. The successful candidate, under the direction of a supervisor, is responsible for data collection, analysis, and other related tasks.
Responsibilities
Conduct literature reviews
Collect and analyze data
Maintain accurate records of data, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects as necessary
Summarize experiments and data
Provide ready access to all experimental data for the team researcher and/or supervisor
Request or acquire equipment or supplies necessary for the project
Manage and respond to project-related emails
Prepare progress reports for the PI and PD, QC, and manufacturing
Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations
Monitor the project reagents and materials
RNA/DNA isolation from cells or tissues
Flow cytometry analysis
Perform PCR, qRT-PCR, or other basic molecular biology techniques
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferably in the biological sciences (or experience in biology research)
1-2 years of sterile tissue culture experience
Cell culture and molecular biology skills
Experience with flow cytometry, functional assays, DNA, RNA, and protein analysis (preferred)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
