FLORIDA family attorney
who is fiercely passionate about representing clients facing one of the most challenging times in their lives. Candidates should be adept at preparing necessary legal documents in connection with prenuptial agreements, initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony, child support/child custody, and real estate. Experience in handling legal issues such as child abuse, child custody, and domestic violence is also a must. Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as neededPrepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of casesAssist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of actionCollaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation processHandle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as neededQualifications
At least 3+ years of family law litigation experienceMember of the FLORIDA BARPrior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitrationMust be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervisionUndergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree requiredProven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendantsExperience at a legal firm working on family law and real estate issues (determining marital property) for at least 1-2 years is requiredPrior work or studies in criminal justice preferredCandidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are highCompensation
