They are responsible for leading Tommy Bahama's Omni channel (eCommerce, Retail, Restaurants, Outlets, and Furniture) email marketing efforts, including strategy development, campaign execution, performance analysis, team leadership, and optimization to drive higher engagement, retention, and revenue while increasing brand loyalty. A deep understanding of email marketing best practices, trends, and extensive experience in the field is required.BE THE ISLAND GUIDEStrategic Email Marketing Leadership:Lead, develop and execute the overall Omni Channel email marketing strategies and email customer journeys ensuring alignment with broader business and marketing goals while communicating brand values.Direct and oversee all phases of targeted email campaign development from ideation through QA and deployment, including calendars, concepts, briefs, and Business and Creative team collaboration.Own the customer lifecycle email strategy, including acquisition, retention, and re-engagement tactics.Campaign Management & Execution:Lead the end-to-end management of email campaigns, from planning, creative development, testing, execution, to analysis and reporting.Ensure campaigns are launched on time and accurately.Lead the review of email campaigns with Cross-departmental and Business owners collaborating to ensure high-quality, on-brand messaging that will drive revenue.Automation & Advanced Segmentation:Implement and optimize sophisticated email workflows.Develop advanced audience segmentation strategies to deliver growth, personalized and relevant messaging at scale.Optimization:Drive A/B testing initiatives across all campaigns, including subject lines, design, copy, and send times to improve KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through data-driven insights.Own relationship with ESP to define opportunities such as new features and functionality to optimize usage of tools and identify benefits to the business.Performance Analytics & Reporting:Compile, track and analyze key email metrics (deliverability, open rates, CTRs, conversion rates, etc.) and report on performance to senior Management.Use data insights to identify actionable tactics and adjust strategies to continually improve campaign ROI.Establish and track benchmarks for email campaigns and ensure email KPIs align with overall business goals.Team Leadership & Development:Oversee a team of Email Specialists dedicated to daily email operations including campaign creation, calendar maintenance, brief review, and data reporting.Foster a collaborative team culture, focused on learning, growth, and continuous improvement.Compliance, Best Practices and Industry Awareness:Working with the Legal team, ensure all email marketing activities comply with global email regulations, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant privacy laws.Stay updated and provide insights on industry trends and best practices to identify new opportunities and elevate the email marketing program.Collaboration:Partner with Business team to ensure email content aligns with business objectives, timelines, and customer needs.Collaborate closely with Cross-departmental teams to ensure email templates and content are optimized, user-friendly, and aligned with the email strategy.Partner with Customer Growth Strategist and Data and Analytics Teams to refine customer segmentation and target mix.Manage partnership with email service provider and other 3rd party vendors to communicate requirements and milestone dates as well as keep on top of tool updates.Partner with Legal to ensure the compliance of our email communications.Perform additional duties and projects as required.ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISEBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field or relevant work experience7+ years working in email marketing and CRM, managing large-scale email campaigns and automations.Retail/Ecommerce experience and understanding required. Fashion, apparel, and accessories industry experience preferred.Experience leading a team.Experience collaborating with Business and Creative Teams, giving directional input on email campaigns.Strong knowledge of email analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to make data-driven decisions (Adobe Analytics preferred).High degree of proficiency with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred).Extreme proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Smartsheet, and Figma.Experience iterating A/B tests focusing on formulating approved hypothesis, proper test setup, and thorough analysis and report out of results.Proficient with BI/reporting tools analyzing guest data in an e-commerce environment.Ability to build complex triggered, multi-stage email nurture journeys.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to embrace change, seek additional learning, and keep abreast of new technology.Strong analytical, presentation, project management, and planning skills.Highly collaborative, putting the shared team goals first.Ability to build strong partnerships with team members and 3rd party vendors to optimize email marketing.Self-motivated with critical attention to detail.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and display exceptional follow-through and initiative.Analysis Skills, Critical Thinking Skills, Problem Solving, Testing, Decision Making, Results Oriented, Communication, Initiative, Adaptability.Highly adaptive individual with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.Excellent business/marketing acumen with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.Rate Range:
