Creative Directors at Freeman lead multidisciplinary project teams, providing guidance and constructive feedback to project team members. They are the owners of the attendee journey and direct the realization of the overall concept into final design and live production. They must be students of the live medium, insightful and innovative thinkers, strong collaborators, and excellent storytellers. Candidates must demonstrate experience being consultative with clients to deliver business results through live creative solutions.This position will support our Creative team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX; however, we are also open to candidates based out of:Chicago, ILLas Vegas, NVConceptualizes experiential creative solutions with a strong understanding of audience engagement and a focus on powerful attendee journeysLeads consultative client discussions with a marketer’s mindset, focused on achieving objectives, reinforcing key messages through experience, and influencing key audiencesLeads the creative process through a design thinking approach that proceeds from strategic concept, to design, to deliveryLeads a multidisciplinary team, nurturing strong collaboration, offering clear, productive direction, while staying accountable to key performance indicators of the projectScripts, assembles, and delivers influential presentations and proposals through strong writing, storytelling, and public speaking skillsGenerates innovative and relevant ideas, aligned with research and trends in the live industryMaintains a currency in technology with an understanding of how it can be used to engage attendees in purposeful, compelling activations and other aspects of live experienceActs as a financial steward of the client and Freeman, offering achievable, purposeful solutions and honoring constraints of time and budgetFunctions as a liaison and connector with various contributing people and departments across Freeman and 3rd party partnersWorks within specified deadlines; edits and revises work based on stakeholder feedbackPlans and delegates assignments, managing time and balancing efforts between several significant projectsRecommends creative budgets, and project scope of workPerforms other duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceEquivalent experience demonstrated by a strong portfolio showing proven industry success10+ years of experience in a creative agency, corporate marketing environment, or architectural design firm in applicable areas of space design such as retail, hospitality, exhibit, and urban design with a strong portfolio of projects that demonstrates the design skills needed to produce high quality, innovative, user-centered experiencesExperience leading a design team, offering guidance, encouragement, and individual development and project feedbackTravel RequirementsTravel up to 25%What We OfferFreeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
