Summary
The Director of Client Relationships will lead and manage the sales efforts for our exhibit growth, with a strong focus on audio-visual (AV) solutions. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of AV services for exhibits and events.
This position will support our Client Relationship group under our Growth (Sales) team and is eligible to work a remote schedule.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Drive and manage the sales efforts for exhibit sales, focused on AV solutions.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored AV solutions.
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of AV services.
Proposal and Contract Management: Generate and revise scope of work, quotes, proposals, and contracts based on client needs.
Team Management: Hire, train, and develop the sales team, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Revenue Forecasting: Provide accurate revenue forecasts and report on sales performance to senior management.
Client Solutions:
Produces and reviews orders with operational personnel.
Confirms jobs and requests necessary information to prepare service plan requirements.
Responsible for event job costing.
Manages problems quickly, efficiently, and effectively to meet customer’s needs.
Responds to customer complaints and handles payment collection process as required.
Miscellaneous:
Prepares reports of business transactions.
Keeps track of travel expenses and submits travel expense reports as required.
Follows-up on customer complaints and collections as necessary.
Represents Freeman to internal personnel and external contacts in a loyal, ethical, and moral manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
Seven (7) or more years of related experience.
Has proven ability to manage their own book of accounts in the profitable production of revenue opportunities totaling approximately $5 million or more.
Knowledge of sales systems such as TSS and Salesforce.com is required.
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Software applications.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required.
Travel Requirements
